weekend was upon us and Trini Jungle Juice had plenty crew in town, Miami Carnival
was in full swing! De fetein' now start! This rounds TRW & Posse would be
rolling through The Carnival Edition of the annual Black & White fete called
"Eclipse" held at Club Seven (ISLANDpeople Playground). We
arrived on the scene minutes to 1am with free parking in abundance... things were
looking good and with an entry line moving pretty fast... even better! Now you
couldn't go wrong with this fete, only $30 Adv/$40 at the door and FREE Drinks!!
Did someone say FREE DRINKS??!! Did someone say FREE PREMIUM DRINKS??!! It's on
like boil corn. As usual, before we get down to business it was off to de bar
to take in de vibes. It
was great to see that people complied with the dress code of black & white,
and we must comment that the ladies stepped out in their sexiest gear giving all
de fellas something to gape at. Hats off to the DJ lineup... Dorenzo, Sound Rev,
Back to Basics, Eternal Vibes, Anonymous and DJ Rambo who to simply put it, mash
up on the one's and two's (we ent know who play exactly when, if at all). Imagine
you were actually sweating in an outdoor fete - what madness is this??!!! With
all the latest soca being played to the sweet sounds of kaiso and ah little chippin
tune here and there, the vibe was on and with the drinks flowing... things were
sweet! TJJ decided
to bounce out around 5:30am, leaving behind some die hard partygoers, who were
probably heading to another party. Anyone missing the left side of their flip
flops (see very last pics)? (lol) Of course on your way out there was a nice selection
of food to choose from including Jerk Chicken and of course our beloved corn soup!
Yes, Yes! Much
thanks to our good friends at ISLANDpeople Miami for allowing TJJ to pass through.
Next year is ah must! TRW |
