Yes people... It's that time again! **evil grin** The night where all the sassy devils, bad cops and sexy kitties come out. Of course those weren't the only costumes at SCREAM 3 "D' Halloween Fete" at Captain John's (Downtown Toronto), but it was the place to be Saturday night!

TJJ's Batgirl & Catwoman arrived on the scene at 11am, or so we thought (time change). As we entered the main room, the ambience felt GOOD. The dance floor was jammed pack... not ah space to pass. Back in times Soca spun by Soca Sweetness (Superman on the night) had the crowd going. Tunes from "Woman by my Side" by Peter Ram and Issac Blackman's big Gospel track with a local twist "To the Ceiling", had the girls (myself included) screaming!! The rest of the feters were found liming and enjoying the vibe while others lined up for drink chits.

Soon after, a change in flavour by Black Reaction gave the crowd what they wanted to hear. Dancehall and Reggae tunes such as "Dutty Wine" and "Ghetto Story", brought out the famous dancehall moves by the young limers. Speaking of the Dutty Wine, did you read our TriniJungleJuice.com Advisor November 3rd 2006 Issue? Be sure to check it out.

As the clock struck 2am; Jester began spinning some old soca such as "Bachelor" by Scrunter and "Focus" by Faye-Ann Lyons. He then gave a request to keep the bar open for one hour, due to the time change, and of course everyone was happy to have an extra hour of drinking!

D'Bandit (a Bandit on the night) however, brought back some old school music towards the end of the night; from Michael Jackson to Lionel Richie, that had the older crowd finally dancing up ah storm.

Overall, it was an great fete. However, it would have been nice if they had a prize for the best costume of the night. As the fete ended around 3am, everyone had satisfied looks on their faces while leaving the boat. Now there was no corn soup man in sight once again... like he afraid of de cold weather, yes!! LOL
