This must be the year of endless boat rides! TJJ lost count already! LOL! One of NYC's top DJ's, Natural Freaks brought to us "Darkers On The Water." Now we know most people think it's silly to wear sunglasses indoors or at night.... it's defintely not good for your eyes. However, for an event such as this, it's fabulous! It's how you execute your personal style within the parameters of a themed event.

Whheeeyyy! Fellas, This boat ride had ladies out in numbers! They were styled, coifed and strutting, oh yeah... wining too. Tall, short, slim, thick, redbone, darkies, brownings.... they all brought their sexy to that boat. The ratio of men to women might have been 3:1 easily. The fellas on the boat were in their glee. Team TJJ NY is going to start awarding some of NYC finest with our 'Best Style Award'. You folks deserve it! Some of you really do have mirrors in your homes.

Our next observation was the fact that most of NYC's elite Trinidadian DJ's were accounted for. From cool veterans in the business to the young and hot. People we're talking about; Teddy Mohammed, GB God Bless, Funky Fat Boy, Back to Basics, Fatal Angels to of course our hosts, Natural Freaks. The music was sick. Somebody bring some Panadol and some Johnny to wash it down... oh lawd!!! Hee hee.

That boat was rocking to literally everything from Hip Hop to Reggae to Soca! At one point, we swear we were in Atlantis with the old school. Party people from the late eighties and early ninties would remember Atlantis/Upper Level in Trinidad. ;-) We see plenty people doing the Wop and Cabbage Patch. Trust, even the S-L-I-D-E! LOL! The bacchanal continued with a Soca train set off by Thief Head Crew. Yuh done know that TJJ was on that train! All aboard!

This boat ride was absolutely worth every penny that went into tickets, hair, make-up, outfits, transportation and parking. BTW, Happy Birthday to Crystal, looking fabulous in her tiara, flanked by her crew in party hats.

Natural Freaks... de boat sell off!!! Thanks for having us... see you soon. Peace.
