The Grand Finale of the Synergy TV Super Model Reality TV Series was such a big event that the TJJ.com crew deployed D’ local Juice, Young Juice and Young Simmo to handle things. The show, which was developed under the theme "Fashion Meets Music", consisted of a fashion show featuring the eight (8) finalists and some other contestants from the series modeling pieces from top fashion designers with a number of performances from some of the best young talent in the local industry.

We hit the ground running but somehow didn't get inside till around twenty past ten, where we found Trini Jacobs on stage finishing her performance. We took up our positions amongst the other media personnel and began our duties. The show featured a number of well known radio and television personalities who functioned as presenters. Amongst them were Nigel Nicholson & Tusca Martinez, Nikki Crosby & Tweez, Shawna Maharaj & Shal Marshal, Ashleia Baksh & Hans De Vignes, Lisa Wickham & Jason Williams, June Lightbourne & Stephen Hadeed and Paul Richards & Michelle Khan who performed the MC duties on the night.

The models strutted their stuff on the runway from the stage to the central bar with poise, attitude and confidence wearing designer names such as Dexter Jennings, Ecliff Elie, Radical Designs, The Cloth, Peter Elias, Bang Bang (Trinidad), Carolina Swim Wear and Francis Fashions/Shoe Locker. While doing so, each clothing section was accompanied by some live entertaining performances from the likes of Ziggy Rankin, Trini Jacobs, Fireball, Ravi B, Umi Marcano and Takeisha Hudlin; who we must note treated folks to an amazing rendition of Beyonce’s “Listen”.

Paul Richards & Michelle Khan then introduced the 2 foreign judges who announced Anya Nathaniel and Kevin Aqui as the overall female and male winners of the competition. They both took their victory walk on the catwalk and were crowned by last year's winners. The other finalists Kayenne, Lisa-Marie, Latoya, Kieron, Peter and Jeffery celebrated with Anya and Kevin while Kees and Nadia Batson came on stage to give a performance doing their hit song for 2007 “My Land” which officially closed off the fashion end of the show. It was now time to set off the AFTER PARTY!!

We stayed on after the show as the models changed and got a chance to have a good time with friends and family that came to support them. The DJ’s had the place jumping for the whole night with the Trini Alliance dancers using the constructed runway as their personal playground. They were joined by Synergy TV 2007 Soca Star, Umi Marcano, as the crowd was given a look at some newer dances.

Meanwhile, upstairs in the Champagne Room on Level 2, the ballers were ballin’ and the players were playin’, as a number of influential and well known personnel partied to a different beat from the rest of the club. Another flight of stairs took us to the Rooftop with The Amateurs where the people were simply “chillaxing”.

We decided that half past three was just as a good time as any other to leave. Descending from Level 3 all de way back down to Level 1, we soaked in some more vibes as we journeyed to the main exit. Guess this is goodbye folks!

Trini Jungle Juice would like to officially congratulate the Synergy Super Models 2007 winners Anya & Kevin wishing them the best of luck in the future, and also commend the organizers on a well staged show.
