Oh lawd, you should see meh rushing down the highway trying to catch the boat that leave @ 2pm, mind you it's 1:45pm and I'm coming from Queens going to Brooklyn. Not to make it any easier it was blazing hot and in the middle of a New York heat wave. Good ting we going on a boatride - Basics Sundaze Boat Ride on the Sherryl Princess leaving out of Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn, to be exact.

Phew!!! We reach de boat, jump on and grab a cold drink at the bar, feelin' de vibes with some soca compliments of the DJ's Back to Basics and Natural Freaks. Off we go... watching around, I see a drink in every hand, and not a straight waist anywhere! Allya see is wining going down. And then the DJ announces the complimentary food on the lower deck ... every man and woman scatter!! Lol!!! As we made our way down, all you could smell was some good food (did we mention it was complimentary) courtesy of Picky Eaters catering!

When all bellies full, the crowd made its way back up to top deck for more drinks and some nice sea breeze, which was just right for this dam heat wave! Now guess what? Time to work it out ... and with great chunes from the DJs, they made it so easy!! I even saw some moves from this crowd, ah never see before. For a Sunday afternoon, they had this boat rockin', ah even feel the vibration on de floor. Most of the time I'm in Queens, but from the vibes of this boat ride, I need to party in Brooklyn more often!!! Such a great set of people and the chunes were on point. The only other thing I have to say is, the pictures speak for themselves. Big up Kelly Ann and crew and crew!
