Tobago sweet for so!!!! The weather lovely, waters clear and sand pink just how we like it. Its 3pm and D’ Young Juice was once again on the scene doing it a lil' different. So we heading straight to Ren Mars @ Pigeon Point for the launch of “Beach House Saturdays” endorsed by Sunset Entertainment. Located on one of the lovely beaches of Tobago is Ren Mars, which is actually a beach/sea front bar with a tropical/cosmopolitan atmosphere, supplying lovely cocktails and scrumptious meals.
Sunset Entertainment decided to launch their spectacular event, Beach House Saturdays, which would continue on the first Saturday each month. Basically this event entails, a beach lime which includes water sports (water holics), music, drinks and nuff vibes. It's from 2-7 in the evening, and would highlight a new theme and cast of DJs and artistes passing through each and every time.
Driving through Pigeon Point, we could hear the music from a distance away as we passed cars and people alike. On entering the venue, it was well categorized. Everything was in proper manner, from the DJ station to the food buffet bar, all the way to the drinks bar with the crowd on the sea front (or on the beach) just enjoying drinks, swimming, dancing and enjoying themselves. Looking out at sea, jet skis, banana boats and kayaks paced up and down the ocean. Also, to add to the warm nest of the event, Alize had complimentary drinks on entry.
As always in Tobago, the evening unfolded lovely with people just enjoying themselves and wanting more. Doh fool yourself though, it ent over yet as the after party was at The Shade. So it’s straight from the beach to home in order to take a fresh and see if we could sneak in a cat nap before we head to Shade for the after party. Now we all know it's The Shade, and things eh starting that early. So we decided to head down around midnight and saw The Shade decorated for the occasion with bamboo and coconut leaves at the entrance.
On the inside, things were already in gear as everyone already had the vibes and were just rocking away to the music. Rapid Response, Trevlyn & Diehard, DJ Red, Selector Shark and all the house DJs made things possible with tune after tune mashing up the dance. The vibes continued all the way to early morning, and by sunrise we decided to dive out. So people look out for Beach House Saturdays, on the 1st Saturday of each month, and then the after party at The Shade.
