Hey Honey Bunches Of Oats!!

So TnT Carnival come and gone, people already complaining about their 'Carnival Tabanca' and there's already a big fete line up in NYC. Not surprising doh, folks like me needed this fete since I wasn't at the greatest show on earth.

We headed to the city to "Breakfast in Bed" - a breakfast party given by In and Out Promotions, OPP and Wide Shut Entertainment. Doors opened at 10am... TJJ arrived at prime time... 3pm-ish. Surprisingly traffic wasn't a major headache on this particular Sunday, and we found a parking spot in two two's. Everything was going perfect so far. Upon entering we were greeted by some sexy fairies, fellas... truss. As we made our way through the crowd we noticed the ambiance. Beautiful job on the decorations folks!!

So hear nah, I settling down, starting to load up my cam and I looked down and couldn't believe my eyes! Why it had a group of girls in socks? "Ah don't get it... explain??" We just reach and already folks in de place with no shoes... nah! Anywho, on the wheels of steel was D Life and Sounds 4 Life holding down the early vibes. So now we wukking, chipping, wining through de crowd and after a sweet lil' session we decided to take a lil' five and head by the bar. We got our juice after being accosted by a wilder beast in a dress and a long wait; it was back to business now. lol Sidebar... why people have no consideration at the bar for folks who have been there before them??!! And they vex more than you when you put them in their place! Hmmm.

There was a live rhythm section beating dey iron to hype up de crowd although dey get buff to stop playin' for while... OMG! The DJs started to rotate now an GB God Bless was up so yuh done know de heat start to approach we now. If yuh see pace... is like it was Carnival Tuesday all over again!! They crowd rhel "Get On"!

There were some celebs in the building; "Queen of all Media" Wendy Williams of 107.5 fm (photo) passed through, Roy Cape All Stars Blaxx gave a breathtaking ("Breathless") performance and Lyrikal was chilling in ah corner. Big up to Wendy, she does give the West Indian community nuff support.

So yuh know... it's a breakfast party, so it must have food. Bake and Saltfish, corn soup, all types of appetizers to feed the people. Big up the cook, good job. Although we didn't get a chance to eat, it smelled and looked lovely. It was about 6-ish and the dance about to wrap up now, so yuh know this mean it really now start. Natural Freaks was up and they had every one taking away dey self. Everyone was trying to do dey lil' Jamaican dances. That session was tough! Somebody say, "When last you hear bout the Congo Man" .... I rhel love that song ("Congo Man" by Machel Montano HD ft Sparrow)! DJ Back to Basics reach now and for the rest of the party is bear "Jamishness"!!!! Find somebody to jam jam jam! When ah say wildness... ah mean wildness. Hear nah, dey all on the people couch an ting! LOL! They literally tear up the place. Oh lawd.... doh talk bout De Heat! Ahhhhhhh! De Heat! Run Machel's "Blazin D Trail".

We had such an amazing time, ah breathless now!
