It's Carnival Friday and we have been feting whole day and whole night for 2 weeks straight..... so tonight is no exception. Well de TJJ crew have been dispatched to all de usual Friday night fetes like ISLANDpeople's "Girl Power" & Privilege's "Rise" and yours truly is heading to the annual "Blue Range Cooler Fete".

Now dis fete was completely sold out. We see people outside with their coolers willing to shell out some $$$ to get in. I reached sometime after midnight and Hunter was on stage singing his 2008 hit song "Bring It". As I looked around, it seemed like everyone is following de man's instructions. If you see coolers boy .... and they are well stacked with all kinda alcoholic beverages... rum being the drink of choice. Well as you know, your girl doh drink, but every time I hear "Yuh cud bring it in ah bottle...." Ah jus feel for a lil' taste ... bartender!!

I heard 3Suns already performed ... steuups, ah vex. That's alright though, DJs XTC and Private Ryan (outta Miami) with MC Jase were playing real tunes. As I walked around saying the usual hellos, I notice all kinda people on top of their coolers jumping and wining and getting on .... pure jamishness in de place. Ah feel sorry for dem coolers cause dey take real abuse dat night!

A rhythm section (Hands of Rhythm) accompanied the DJs for the latter part of the night. Those guys were so good that I spent the rest of the night wining to their beats. There was a tassa section on the other side too ... nice.

After all dat jamming, ah got a bake & shark to go and we were off to Smokey and Bunty to continue de lime.
