Seebee and De Panyard Crew went all out for Atlanta Carnival 2008 as de talk for de entire Carnival was, "Aye allyuh going Panyard? Wha De Panyard having? Wha time allyuh going Panyard?" Well guess what? It's true! De Panyard was the place to be, especially for the 8th Outdoor Jouvert Jam on the ATL Carnival Friday.

On this particular morning, the crowd from the 5th Annual Atlanta Kaiso Competition stayed for the Jouvert Jam. They might as well, since everybody else in ATL was headed the De Panyard anyway! Known for having a late start, we ran away to The Atrium to check out the Atlanta J'ouvert 2008 fete. So when the we got back to De Panyard around 4AM, there was the feeling that we missed out on something. But that was the furthest thing from the truth, as the party was in full swing with partygoers either jammin' to the music of Ibis International, or hanging by de breakfast table, waiting for bake n shark!!

By 6AM, there were no signs of tired legs, nor eyes, nor waists!! No signs of the bar running out ah drinks, no signs of woman shying away from man, and definitely no signs of man refusing to grab onto ah bumper .... it was rhel bacchanal !!! And as far as J'ouvert, de only thing was missing was de oil, mud & powder!! Other than that, De Panyard was on point. When talking to the people, we could tell that folks came from all over - DC, NY, Philly, FL to mention a few places. One lady from Philly had a time with the corn soup ... pressure for de corn husk, yes!

All in all, the 8th Outdoor Jouvert Jam was all that it was made out to be. Party was sweet!!! So tell meh, we seeing allyuh again next year or wha?
