So it's the night of Eyes Wide Shut IV (aka The Birthday Bash for DJ Hazzard) and I had some concerns dat ah was going to be de only person in de party. Ok me, plus de photo-taker-outer. People, if yuh see rain!! But ah was keeping hope alive since we trying to get ready for Miami Carnival and ting. So ah reach F.U.R., never been there before but heard good things about de place. Ah headed for de Mafia room to cover this party - yes, ah got de job as de official assistant to the photo-take-router. So let meh tell yuh about this party - and de best way to tell yuh about this party is blow by blow from ring side, sometimes even inside de ring!

11 PM party empty, but ah expect that with de rain and all. Nobody to take pics of (ah say that like ah is de camera man ent?), so ah headed for de bar. Order meh drink and left de bartender with meh credit card (sexy women could make meh do anything – and if yuh see de bartenders, ah was in lust).

12 midnight and some people started to come in. Ah pull out de camera, cause ah just remember dat ah was supposed to be working and we getting some good shots of de early "birds". Yes back in the queen’s land of England, dat is what us blokes call women, birds.

1 AM de music jumping, more people come in, drinks flowing and de lord answering meh prayers of more women... OMG, by 1:30 in de morning, if yuh see people ... if yuh see women ... de place now getting packed. Even people coming over from de regular side of de club. PRESSURE ... yuh could not convince meh that two hours ago there was no one in this party! People spending money like crazy at de bar (but we go get back to dat one soon). De high rollers arrived and they got, not one but, two tables and put some big bottle of Goose on them. Well ah nice by now, ah liming like ah big.

2:00-3:30 AM and they cyah stop de party anytime soon. Club now packed – really, wall to wall. If yuh had a problem dancing with ah woman or a man before, yuh have no choice now, yuh just standing and de crowd and place jumping. De security began to look worried, never saw so much people on that side of de club before. De security even came over a few times and ask de DJs to turn down de music cause it pulling de people from de regular side of de club. De party now off de hook.... ah drinking whatever they bring for meh, ah doh care – fuss an having ah good time. De DJ now asking who going Miami in two weeks and all de people raising dey hand (ah began to think that go be a crowed plane, ah better get to the airport early).

4 AM and de security began to tell people to go home (like dey doh know how we Caribbean people does do it – we not going home till de morning come, we not going home till we see de sun!! But like ah was drunk, why ah stealing line from people song now?). Nuff respect to all the DJs - Mixa Cren, Majestic (Blue Print), Half Krazy, Nemesis, Private Ryan (he mash up de place fine, fine, fine like chilly bibby!) and the promoter/b-day boy - Hazzard. Ah now waiting for Eyes Wide Shut V. But why dey does call it Eyes Wide Shut? Who knows.  Ah doh even know how ah got home de next morning? Please send meh an email, send meh something to let meh know. PARTY WAS NICEEEEEEEE...
