Let me start off saying that it was 6:47pm Saturday when we got the call on where this event was taking place. It must have been top secret! Honestly, when I heard it was in a suite, I was not thrilled. Once there, parking was a breeze. My partner Text-a-holic Juice was already there, working the crowd and upon exiting the elevator changed my whole mood.

The atmosphere was elegant to say the least. From the two balconies you could see Manhattan skyline (photo). Wow! The decor was warm ... there was a self serve bar on every turn with at least two choices of wine or champagne, and you weren't drinking them out of Dixie cups either! Come on, these are Hilarians for crying out loud. There were real glasses with 24 karat trim, nice!

Did we mention it was an elegant affair? There was plenty, plenty woman. Some professional, some students. All fine, with one single male taking pics. Had I known I would have worn a QRC Shirt!! *lol* Fellas, it was heaven on earth! Had y'all been there, you didn't have to ask for a name nor age, if you know how to add. Bunji's "Plenty Gyal" was constantly playing in my head, and by DJ Young Star, who was spectacular playing hit after hit throughout the two levels of the suite. Respect to the DJ.

The hostesses made sure we were okay all night. The food was mmmmm good ... it even had fruit and vegetables for the ital. Dessert was strawberry cake that read, "BAHS Reunion NYC 2009" (photo) and Junior's delicious strawberry cheese cake. MMMMMMM and my eyes enjoyed the candy!!!!! They both now have diabetes! Lol!

Two drinks stood out. They were called 1998 and 1999. I can't say what was in them, but they were very effective. I think you girls are onto something here. This should be an annual event.
