Well boy humm for the past 72 hours everyone has been asking us the same question, "Where you guys going on Monday .. Shine or Ssshhhh?" On Memorial Monday Shine is TJJ's standard draft, but sometimes change is good, so we decided to check out Ssshhhh ... a Breakfast Party promoted by Natalie. It was held at the Green Lounge in BK. We've never been to this venue, but from past experiences with Natalie, we were pretty sure it was going to be a good choice. I arrived rather early (early enough to take a tour of the place) and was greeted by some sexy fairies ... or maybe they were butterflies ... you know what, let's just call them the "Ssshhhh girls". The
venue was really nice, and beautifully decorated of course. It even had a cozy
backyard. So far, I'm definitely feeling this one. I can't forget to mention the
bartenders in their cute dresses either!! After liming with a few peeps who haven't
seen in ages (hey, those are some of the perks
Some of my favorite DJs were killing it on the 1's and 2's ... Sounds4Life, Notorious Inc., Anonymous, Platinum Sounds and Young Star. After taking a small wine, I saw a couple of people eating, so I went to fill my belly too!! *lol* It had hot-dogs, sandwiches and other appetizers to stuff your face with. Not to mention, the oyster man and his delicious sea food!! From
a distance, I noticed a few people jumping ... and of course I had to go and macco
It was the Ssshhhh girls throwing cotton candy into the crowd. I was a bit shocked
to see grown people jumping for cotton candy!!! But on the low, I went an beg
for a bag .... ssshhh ... lol. Then I ran into a lady who had a some kind of interesting
slush looking cocktail. So you know I had to go and get one of those too!! Music pumping and I'm surrounded by good looking people ... no complaints so far. And if that wasn't enough, there was some live entertainment in store There were Tassa drummers straight out of Queens giving us a lil' taste of their drums. My new word for the summer is "Swanky", and this fete was more than "Swanky!!" Natalie, job well done! Who say "Ssshhhh Miami??!!" Frolicking
on the sidewalk with 1/2 de crowd after de party finish, |
